I am in Love with Falling in LOVE / Knoxville Wedding Photographer

I am so giddy right now it’s ridiculous!  I shot a wedding this past Saturday and I am really excited all the images!  I love this falling in love stuff!  I love all the giggling, reserved glances trying to restrain utter joy, long-awaited embraces, and much rejoicing as bride and groom kiss.  I love it all!  And most of all, I love that I have the immense privilege to capture it through a photograph.  Kept forever, treasured forever.

Okay, okay…so I am a bit emotional now.  I suppose it does not help to edit wedding pictures while listening to mushy music….

Love my sister~

My sister Sharon agreed to help me out and take our family pictures this year.  I promised I would return the favor and snap some of her and her hubby Lon.

It was quick,…quicker than I wanted.  We had my kids and my husband in the van waiting on us.  I wish I had more time with her and Lon.  But  I love this first one.

The Sanders Family

When Shannon called me to book a photo session she warned me that her and Jayson, and the kids, were not photogenic at all.   None sense I told her!  There is no such thing!  But she kept telling me over and over how non- photogenic they were.

Well, I told her I had some tricks up my sleeve- and we are not talking photo shop tricks.

So all the following people you are about to see were present at the photo shoot, no cutting and pasting faces etc.

You tell me, are these not the most photogenic people you have ever seen!!?

Lane + Karin = 2 boys & triplets

I have never been asked by parents of triplets to do a photo session.  This one was with triplets and it was a lot of fun!  Karin kept apologizing to me if the kids did not cooperate or had melt downs.  But I kept assuring her that I was not phased at all and was nothing new I experience at my own home.   But lo and behold, we got this session  wrapped up in an hour, AND I got some real goodies!

The Peebles Bunch

I was approached to take this photo session as an anonymous gift for Karen and her family.  I was tickled to be a part of such a surprise.  I was told that Karen did not have any nice photographs of her kids, or herself, taken since the kids were babies.  I was so honored to do this for her!

And may I say that I never bellied laugh so hard during a photo shoot!  The kids laughed and joked the entire time.  Karen said, “yup, this is what it is like at home…we all entertain each other!”.

The Schollaerts

With 4 children in their family, Chad and Elizabeth make it look easy!  All the kids are incredibly well behaved.  I think I was in shock to see them all sitting or standing quietly and still.  Compared to my acrobat of a daughter, I was amazed at the stillness a child can actually have!

We had fun and I love the pictures I was able to get of this sweet family~

Adam and Ellen’s crew

I am excited to post this one!  I got some awesome images at this photo shoot.  Love this family!  They are just too adorable!  I took their pictures earlier this summer when MJ, the littlest was 6 months maybe.  Now she is walking and Ellen and Adam are expecting #4!  We had so much fun together as usual.  Thanks for being so laid back and letting me take you to some new places!

I am trying out this new way to post images to see if it speeds things up a bit…and after posting my final picture I realized I had not stamped my name on any of them!

Sextons

Man do I love this family!  I love how laid back everyone is, how joyful the children are, and how much they all love each other.

It is always such a blast to be with them.  It brings back all kinds of memories when I come to the Sexton home.  I use to come regularly to this home in my college days.  Doug and Alison where my Care Group leaders, during that time, at the church we both go to.  Coming through their doors is like when you get to come home for your Holiday breaks from school.  It’s like coming home.   All those warm fuzzies….I love it!

An oldie but a goodie…

How could I have forgotten to post this session!?  This was way back from early October and somehow I missed it.  So for all of you out there that are in denial that it is now officially winter and incredibly FRIGID outside….I hope this warms you up as you are about to see pumpkins and fall festivities.  This was such a fun shoot because it was something different for me and I love the Albright family.

I tagged along with Andrea, Mark and Landan to a pumpkin patch as they picked out Landan’s first pumpkin.   As we were on the hay ride, Andrea turned to me and said, “You didn’t know that you would be on a hayride today, huh!?”.  We both laughed out loud.  I did not know that we would be taking a hay ride, but I love them so I did not mind at all ! And I got these sweet pics of them on the ride…

Landan fell asleep on the way back.  So sweet~

The Slacks

Kristen and I had emailed back and forth about scheduling this photo session for a while.  I was starting to feel like she was a kind of pen pal.  And when I finally got to meet her it was like seeing my long lost friend.  Steve and Kristen and their two boys were an absolute joy to be with!  They love to be with each other and it was so sweet to watch them interact with one another.

I had so much fun with them and I am seriously wild about this first family picture.
